The School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeronáutica y del Espacio, ETSIAE) offers three higher educational courses: Undergraduate’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees.
Firstly, you can undertake undergraduate studies in Aerospace Engineering (Grado en Ingeniería Aeroespacial, GIA) or undergraduate's degree in Air Transport Management and Operations (Grado en Gestión y Operaciones del Trasnporte Aéreo, GyOTA). The School also offers different Master's Degrees: Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Máster Universitario en Ingeniería Aeronáutica, MUIA); Master's Degree in Air Transport Systems (Máster Universitario en Sistemas del Transporte Aéreo, MUSTA); Master's Degree in Space Systems (MUSE), all of them within the aerospace field, as well as others like the Master's Degree in Industrial Mathematics (Máster Universitario en Matemática Industrial, M2i) or the Master’s Degree for Teachers of Secondary School, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training (Máster Universitario de Formación del Profesorado). Once obtained the undergraduate’s degree, you can pursue a Master’s Degree and afterwards doctoral studies. Otherwise, you can have direct access to Master’s or Doctoral Studies prior holding the necessary educational background from other university centres.
All our students are offered educational courses encompassing theory and practice as both aspects are required for the development of their future professional careers. Our objective is to build professionals with a strong scientific academic background and wide variety of knowledge in different technologies to design, develop, implement, manage and improve products, systems and processes in the aerospace field.
In addition to official degrees, ETSIAE does offer its own undergraduate’s degree and other specialised postgraduate programmes in certain areas linked to aerospace engineering, which are of interest to complete the educational background of professionals of the sector.
