The Department of Mathematics Applied in Aerospace Engineering is in charge of teaching basic disciplines within the Applied Mathematics area of knowledge required to develop specific concepts of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering. Moreover, scientific research covers topics such as linear stability analysis, high-order methods, complex systems, multiphase flows, dynamics in combustion processes and numerical aerodynamics.
